PRA Announced EED Exemption for Fully Vaccinated SRRV Applicants from Non-Visa Required Country
2022-2-4
In view of recently approved Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution No. 159, s. 2022 dated 27 January 2022, fully vaccinated nationals of non-visa required countries under Executive Order No. 408 (s. 1960), as amended, will be allowed entry to the Philippines starting 10 February 2022.
Pursuant to this, the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) will no longer endorse Entry Exemption Document (EED) requests to the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for fully vaccinated nationals of the said list of countries.
However, all SRRV applicants of countries NOT included under EO 408 will still be required an EED to enter the country.
SRRV applicants will still comply with the existing test and quarantine protocols including vaccination compliance for arriving passengers set forth by the IATF-EID for all international ports of entry.
Contact EED_srrvapplication@pra.gov.ph for EED-related inquiries and concerns.
