The Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors of the Philippines (AVID) announced on January 31 that sales of imported vehicles for the full year of 2021 increased by 13.6% over the previous year to 58,916 units. This is a return to positive growth from the previous year, when sales declined sharply due to the pandemic.
