The oldest building in the Philippines – San Agustin Church
It is the only UNESCO World Heritage-listed building in Manila. Construction started in 1587 and completed in 1606, San Agustin Church is the first Spanish architectural church in the Philippines and the oldest existing stone church. Made in baroque style, where you can see chandeliers ordered from Paris, elaborately decorated altars, pulpit, choir seats, and fraudulent fraudulent paintings. There is also a museum on-site, where you can see valuable materials and paintings of the time, monks’ costumes, and the statue of Christ. In addition, there is a room where Spanish army declared surrender to the U.S. Army in 1898.
