On the October 12th, the Philippine government announced that it has updated the immigration quarantine regulations implemented as a measure against the new coronavirus and designated Japan as a “low risk (green)” country / region. If certain conditions are met, fully vaccinated individuals will be exempted from facility-based quarantine after entry, and for unvaccinated individuals, it will be shortened to 6 days.
