In December last year, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) held a series of meetings with executives from Amkor Technology, a U.S. company that engages in the encapsulation and inspection of semiconductor back-end processes, Murata Manufacturing Co., and SAMSUNG. The meeting was held to discuss the business expansion plans of each company. It was reported by Manila Bulletin on 3rd.
