The Board of Investments (BOI) under the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on 10th approved the domestic production of Molnupiravir, a new coronavirus oral drug developed by the U.S. company Merck, by the local pharmaceutical company Lloyd Laboratories. Domestic production is expected to ensure a stable supply and lower prices.
