On 21st, the Central Bank of the Philippines announced guidelines for electronic payments under the National Retail Payment System (NRPS). While maintaining the provisions on immediate retail payments, new provisions on bulk payments have been established. The guidelines aim to strengthen the reliability and risk management of bulk payments.
