IHS Markit, a British research firm, forecasts that the Philippines’ gross domestic product (GDP) will surpass US$1 trillion by 2033. The nominal GDP of the Philippines is expected to expand from US$360 billion in 2020 to US$810 billion in 2030, and to surpass US$1 trillion in 2033.
