Several local newspapers reported that the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has attracted 4.36 trillion pesos (approximately 8.84 trillion yen) in investments over the past 27 years since the Special Economic Zone Act was enacted in 1995.  Exports were 933.835 billion pesos.
