Two-thirds of Philippine employers plan to get COVID-19 vaccines for their workers

Two-thirds of Philippine employers plan to administer corona vaccine to workers
According to a study by a global advisory firm Willis Towers Watson and the Philippine Management Association, two-thirds of Philippine employers plan to purchase a COVID-19 vaccine for their employees.
According to a survey of 250 human resource practitioners in February, 65 percent are either ready or in the process of making arrangements to buy a vaccine.
58 % of employers who haven’t started the vaccine purchase process are considering purchasing, while 42% don’t plan to buy vaccine.
68% of companies said they would subsidize the full cost of the vaccine, while 11% said they would partially pay for it.
The Philippines began vaccinating healthcare workers Monday after receiving 600,000 doses of the CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine donated by the Chinese government.
Health Secretary Francisco Duke said 500,000 doses of AstraZeneca Plc vaccine will be delayed by about a week due to supply problems.
