Dennis Uy, CEO of Converge ICT Solutions, a Philippine telecommunications services company, announced on 27th that they are planning to develop an IT-focused city in Pampanga, north of Metro Manila, in the next three to four years. He made the announcement at an online conference organized by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (NCCP). He pointed out that the Philippines is located in the heart of Asia and has great geographical advantages to make it a digital hub. Discussions are underway with Minister Lopez, Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Minister Dominguez, Secretary of Finance.
