The Philippine conglomerate San Miguel Corporation (SMC) announced on the 21st that they has signed a contract with the government for the construction of the “Pasig River Expressway (PAREX)” along the Pasig River that crosses Metro Manila. The project cost is 95 billion pesos (about 200 billion yen) and will be borne by San Miguel.
