Eagle Cement (ECC), a major cement company run by the family of Ramon Ann, president of the Philippine conglomerate San Miguel Corporation (SMC), announced on the 24th that it will acquire all shares of its affiliated quarrying company Solid North Mineral (SNMC). The acquisition price is 3,572 million pesos (about 7.8 billion yen).
